California State Water Resources Control Board Notice of Intervention

Pursuant to Rule 214 of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 C.F.R. § 385.214, the California State Water Resources Control Board files this notice of intervention in this proceeding.  As described in California Water Code § 13160, the California State Water Resources Control Board is the state water pollution control agency for all purposes for federal water pollution control laws, including for issuance of water quality certifications, and intervenes in the proceeding as of right under 18 C.F.R. § 385.214 (a)(2).

On February 22, 2024, Pacific Gas and Electric Company filed its Application for Temporary Variance of Flow Requirements for the Potter Valley Hydroelectric Project, FERC Docket No. 77-320.
